This actually looks a lot like mine. If I could figure out how to post the image, I’d send you one. I played mine with a Blue Grass group for a while and then got away from it.
This one actually arrived in pretty good shape–just filthy. Apparently it was owned by a service station owner–who would sit and play when repair business was slow. Greasy hands had nearly blackened it. But that same grease had kept the finish intact and the instrument in good shape. A couple of good cleaning and new strings was all it took.
